Their foreign language know-how and intercultural competences constitute valuable resources for entry into new markets. Only rudimentary findings or data are available so far on whether and to what extent these competences are also used.

    What are the obstacles (such as command of German, vocational qualification, etc.) from the viewpoint of companies that mean these competences cannot be used at all or are used insufficiently? How difficult is it to recruit people with a migration background and relevant competences needed by the companies on the labour market? A topical ibw study knows the answers to these questions.
