The project weReurope was approved in the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008 and conducted by ibw and its partners from seven other EU member states. It is co-financed through the Grundtvig programme.

The EU project Zoom (website: http://www.zoom-eqf.eu) is connected with the thematic complex E/NQFs (European and National Qualifications Frameworks). The project is designed to test the classification and referencing of qualifications to the national qualifications frameworks (or NQFs) of the partner countries and to the European Qualifications Framework by way of an example. Halfway through the project the first results are available.

As a new ibw service, the newsletter for IVET trainers “ausbilder.newsletter” was published in May 2010. It is scheduled to come out four times a year and provides information and downloads connected with apprenticeship training.
In the book “Fit for Future – Training Companies Create a Future”, the best Austrian training companies reveal the secrets of their training success – from recruitment and modern training methods to career planning. The book is based on more than 500 submissions for the state prize “Best training enterprises – Fit for Future” and comprises a large number of best-practice examples of top Austrian companies.
